It's All Just An Act

I'm beginning to feel like I'm starring in my own little version of The Truman Show.  If you missed that movie years ago because you're not a Jim Carrey fan or because you were too busy being a lot younger than I am, please skip to the next paragraph.

Okay, I guess that was all of you.  In The Truman Show Jim Carrey thinks he's living a typical life, but everyone around him is an actor, playing a role in his compact, predictable world.  My life is similar to that, except instead of trying to give me the happy little life Jim Carrey had, people around me are trying to piss me off.  If they weren't, then why isn't Chick-fil-A open on Sundays?

And if no one's trying to upset me, then why did someone nonchalantly loan me her copy of Raising Your Spirited Child?

He's not spirited.  He's just drunk.  You would be drunk too if you were continually paraded around town with your little sister who repeatedly strips naked in public places.  That's not easy on a guy.  Crusher is constantly put in a position where he needs to defend Bam Bam's honor.  Do you know how hard it is to defend someone's honor when you're 2.5-years-old?  And you're drunk?
