Poor Bam Bam, Poor Me
One day last week when I picked Bam Bam up from preschool her amazing teacher apologized because my little girl had suffered a minor accident, was left with a bruise on her arm and a scratch on her forehead, and the teacher could not have felt any worse about it. She even wrote up an "Ouch" report, had iced her arm and given her lots of TLC for good measure. I wasn't phased in the least. She's a toddler and accidents happen. Bam Bam was long over it by the time I picked her up, so no worries on my part.
Meanwhile, when I got home and put my kids down for their nap, bruises and all, I fired up my laptop which immediately crashed. My heart sank. I had a sick, burning feeling deep in the pit of my stomach. I demanded answers. How could this have happened? What could have been done to better protect something that means so much to me?
I truly hope my kids grow-up to someday appreciate all of the effort I put into finding competent people to watch them when I didn't want to.

So true. One day when they have children to dump off on someone else, they'll thank us for all the effort we made!
I like the new look by the way!

Oh your poor computer....oh I mean daughter. I'm sure they'll both be fine. You can upgrade right? Kids come with upgrades right? Right?
Like the new look.

Lol, I'd have been crushed about the laptop, too. I'm sure one day all of our valiant efforts will be appreciated by our kids...after lots of therapy and kids of their own, of course.
Love the new look!

Best wishes to your daughter and the laptop.
By the way, I love, love, love the new look!

You MUST write up an "ouch" report and ice your computer immediately! Major TLC needed! Oh, and I hope Bam Bam's OK.
Seriously, I hope both of your "babies" are back and better than ever in no time!

Oh No! Not your laptop! Yikes. Kids heal well, laptops don't. Ya know what I mean?

LOL. When I think about all the major meltdowns I've had in the last year, the worst ones had to do with my computer or Internet not working.
Yeah. Internet addiction. It's not pretty.
Like your new design, btw!

I'm devastated for you. I mean, you can always make new kids. But laptops? You have to drive all the way to Best Buy to get a new one. You can't sleep through that process like you do the baby making process.

Well, Shortman has a plantars wart. Mr. Hot looked for remedies. "Nailpolish on the wart, duct tape over the nailpolish."
My response? "Not my new purple - ewww. Fungus"
Mr. Hot is competent right?
