Uh Oh! My Daughter's A GIRL!

I'm starting to become really concerned.  I have been waiting patiently now 20 months for Bam Bam to morph into a boy and I'm not sure I can wait much longer.  She's starting to grow hair and she may need me to brush it soon.  With a highly-functioning tomboy as her mother, may I just say I really don't see prom night going well for her at this juncture.

And of course my loving husband is no help in this arena.  He thinks Bam Bam only needs one pair of shoes to match all of her outfits.  But he also thinks cookie parties are stupid so he's a freak whose every consideration is to be discounted from this point forward.

I would've been funnier on this blog entry except I'm holding Crusher and I'm never funny when I'm typing one-handed.

I think this is plenty funny - and true. But don't worry, you've got plenty of options in the Old Navy boys department to help her boy it up, as my own sigOth's shopping habits for our 22 mo daughter will support.

(found you from a friend of Jeff Goldfarb's btw. Good blogs travel fast.)

Know exactly what you mean. When our daughter has a "girl moment" or gets a bit dramatic, my husband looks at me like, "what do we do?" and I shrug my shoulders. We're still trying to figure out what to do with her most times and she just turned 9! And having two boys, one her twin and one a year older than her, we figured she'd prefer the tomboy things. Nope.
